AUSTIN (KXAN) - Spring bird migration is underway in Central Texas and our skies are being filled with thousands of birds nightly.Meteorologist Kristen Currie spoke with Travis Audubon's Executive Director, Nicole Netherton, to find out how long our feathered friends will be around and how we can help prepare our yards for their stay. The dates are set for the DEC's first round of discussions on how to keep the High Peaks and Kaaterskill Clove regions safe, clean, and beautiful. ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - A Michigan man faces DWI charges in a crash that injured three St. Louis-area law enforcement officers over the weekend. James Gibbs, 62, of Flint, Michigan, is behind bars on two counts of DWI (causing injury to a law enforcement officer) and failure to proceed with caution with emergency lights displayed. WARREN COUNTY, Mo. - A St. Louis man died Sunday morning after a collision involving a train in Warren County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. MSHP reports that John Oates, 80, died in the crash. Next of kin have been notified. The crash happened around 11:30 a.m. Sunday at a rail line on Archer Road, just south of I-70 Outer Road. A man is dead after he was ejected from his pickup truck when it flipped over in Mission Hills, then struck by at at least one other vehicle, according to the California Highway Patrol.The man, whose identity has not been released, was on the transition road from the northbound 5 Freeway to the eastbound 118 Freeway at about 12:10 a.m. when his white Ford Ranger rolled down an embankment, according to Sgt. Daniel Ralph.
