What to know about the University of Minnesota’s data breach

After investigating a data breach report from August, the University of Minnesota announced Thursday that personal information about students and employees across 30 years was compromised.The U began its investigation after an individual claimed to have posted information including admissions, race and ethnicity information online in July. Two longtime Twin Cities broadcast journalists have left the airwaves this week to take care of ailing elders. They’re also longtime friends.“We’ve been talking about this for 15 years. SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A wrongful death lawsuit against the city of Saratoga Springs will go to trial. The decision regarding Darryl Mount's death has taken 10 years.Mount was left comatose in 2013 after falling from scaffolding while being chased by police. He died in 2014.
